Schoonover Trucking, Inc.

Providing Excellence, One Load At A Time.

Step 1. Review Driver Requirements And FAQ Section On This Site.

This is where the journey begins. Before completing an application please take a few minutes to review the FAQ and other employment related sections of this website. Doing so will answer the most basic questions about working with us and may very well save time and frustration for us all.

Step 2. Download, Complete, and Email Application

If all your questions have been sufficiently answered either by reading the FAQ section on this site or by direct response to your questions via email, then please download the initial application and send to us via email ASAP!

Step 3. Supply All Information Requested By Lease Company

If your initial application looks good you will be directed to complete a more detailed application for the carrier to whom we are currently on contract with. Please do not leave any question blank. No incomplete application can be processed. Be completely honest in answering all questions and provide all requested information. Much of what is asked for in the application is not just of concern to the carrier, but is actually a requirement for you to provide by federal regulation.

Step 4. Attend Orientation

Once the application process has been completed we will schedule your orientation. You will attend a ONE DAY orientation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Regardless of your experience level in the frac sand business, this orientation is absolutely necessary. During this time you will learn about company and customer expectations, complete necessary industry certifications, fit-tested for a half-mask respirator, be outfitted with required PPE, receive training on required paperwork and processes, be drug tested, and ultimately be paired with a qualified trainer.

Step 5. Make-Ready Equipment And Receive Training

During the week of orientation you will have opportunity, and responsibility, to make ready your equipment. This includes loading all of your personal affects such as bedding, clothing, CB radio, groceries, etc that you will need for daily living in your truck. Upon completion of orientation you will be dispatched to pickup a trailer and will need to hook to it, do a thorough inspection of both the truck and trailer. You may then be matched temporarily with a trainer if deemed necessary to complete a few loads together in which you will "shadow" the trainer in your truck and actually earn while you learn.
