Schoonover Trucking, Inc. began in 2011 as a husband & wife team pulling flatbed LTL oilfield equipment from Houston, TX to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and back each week. Business was strong and they decided to grow their company by adding another truck in a different market to see how it would prosper. In 2014 they moved this second truck from OTR flat-bedding to try the frac sand business in the West Texas oilfields. Within a few months they began adding more trucks and moved the original truck from LTL flatbed to join the others in hauling frac sand.
In 2019 Schoonover Trucking moved their operations away from Pneumatic trailers in the Permian Basin of West Texas to SandBox operations strictly within Oklahoma. This has proven to be a good move for both the company and our drivers.
The future looks bright and the company is looking to add more power units as soon as possible. This however requires putting qualified, responsible drivers in the seat.
